Style Files: Winter-to-Spring Transition Pieces

When I saw this dress at Target, I was immediately drawn to the floral pattern. It’s not like anything I own,  I like the flowy casualness of it, and yet it’s still work-appropriate. The best part is that the dark background and bright pattern make it a good transition piece from winter to spring. And a dress for $27.99? Yes, please! I paired it with tights and boots here because it’s still chilly in Seattle in February. But it will be adorable sans tights too.

GSW Style Tip: Before you buy something, consider how often you’ll be able to wear it during the year. More seasons equals more value, especially for dresses and skirts.
