It’s Time for Holiday Cards!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Yay! I’ve been busy in the workshop making lots of gifts and haven’t put my tree up, didn’t buy an advent calendar in time (a holiday staple for me), haven’t started my holiday shopping, and I only just ordered my holiday cards. I’m really looking forward to this weekend and I’m going to smush it together and get it all done!! That’s my exhausted but positive brain talking. We’ll see what actually happens.

Something I would never pass up on is finding the perfect holiday cards! Because it’s so late in the game, New Year cards are my best choice. I’m a paper lover and I’ve ordered my cards from Minted the last few years and loved them—I even have them framed! They offer all the fun and beautiful goodies I love about cards, paper, and graphic design, plus they support independent artists. Their paper is beautiful and they offer several types, including 100% recycled paper, Pearlescent, DoubleThick, or even TripleThick paper–my fave! They also offers postcards, ornament cards and eight die-cut shapes, and a variety of backer options for customization.

I love going through their gigantic holiday selection, finding my faves, and then narrowing it down. Here are my cards from the last two years–I still love them!

This year, I started with 40(!) favorites and narrowed them down to 13 before I asked for input (If you need help choosing your card, check out this post for tips!). Here are a few of my favorites:

I would have ordered this card had I been earlier—it’s adorable!

Do you see a color trend happening? It’s all about green. I’ve always believed the envelope is just as important as the card, and they do too! You can choose coordinating envelope color, liners, free recipient addressing, return address labels, and even custom postage stamps that match your card design! Or you could go simple with just the card and recipient addressing and have a stunning set.

After much debate, I chose Swirly New Year in Mint:

I chose a die cut shape, photos on the back, return address labels, and the free recipient address service! I can’t wait to get them!

This post was created in partnership with Minted. All opinions are always my own and I never write about items I don’t love!
